Hampton Inn by Hilton at the Falls hosts 50th Anniversary

In our bustling World we often overlook the simplicity of achievement; however, the Hampton Inn by Hilton at the Falls in Niagara Falls Ontario took a moment to recognize a major milestone being celebrated by two beloved repeat guests; a 50th Wedding Anniversary.

Blair and Anne Harrison were married on August 20, 1960 and spent their wedding night at the Brock Plaza Hotel in the Fallsview Presidential Suite.  Since then, the Harrison’s have become regular repeat guests of the Hampton Inn thanks in part to the stellar location, complimentary amenities but more-so the exceptional guest service they’ve encountered.

When notified of the impending anniversary Hotel General Manager Nancy Wales put into motion a series of accolades to honour the Golden Anniversary.  The Couple was welcomed to the Hotel with a sign in the lobby, and several letters of congratulations from notable figures including the right honourable Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper, Member of Provincial Parliament Kim Craitor, Niagara Falls Mayor Ted Salci, and Niagara Regional Councillor Barbara Greenwood.  Ms. Wales also arranged for the couple to dine on the Falls Avenue Resort at the spectacular Fallsview Restaurant overlooking the majestic Falls.
To say the Harrison’s were thrilled with the recognition doesn’t cover the emotion expressed by the couple.  Blair and Anne who also just celebrated their 75th birthdays, noted that the Hampton Inn by Hilton at the Falls is the only hotel in Niagara that they visit.

We would once again like to congratulate Blair and Anne on their 50th anniversary and offer our continued best wishes.

Hampton Niagara Waffle Station

The Hampton Inn by Hilton at the Falls is excited to announce the addition of a make your own waffle station to our complimentary breakfast buffet.  Now, each morning the atrium of the Hampton Inn by Hilton at the Falls fills with the inviting aroma of fresh baked waffles.   Our make your own station is the newest addition to the complimentary buffet which also features fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, coffee, tea, and weekly featured hot plate items such as pancakes, and sausages.  The “Hot on the House” buffet is available for all guests at the hotel, and is sure to get your day off to a great start as you prepare for a day in the Falls.

Congratulations Hampton Staff

Staff members at The Hampton Inn by Hilton at the Falls are celebrating the latest Hampton Corporate “Spirit Award” Winner. Guest Service Agent Kris McKay was awarded the prestigious corporate award on Friday which recognizes excellence in customer service and guest satisfaction. Ms. Mckay is the second member of staff to be honoured following in Front Desk Supervisor Courtney McCrae’s footsteps in 2009.
The Hampton Inn Spirit Award is the highest honour that can be bestowed on a member of staff and is awarded by the Hampton Group of Hotels quarterly. Winners of the award demonstrate their dedication by going above and beyond to ensure each guest receives the first rate service and attention that have become the hallmarks of the Hampton Inn brand.
Ms. McKay was nominated for the Award by General Manager Nancy Wales whom noted one particular instance that demonstrates her concern for guests. It was thanks to McKay’s quick thinking and actions that prevented what could have been a dire situation when a young girl was approached by a man not known to her in the lobby.
McKay has been presented with a plaque, certificate, a copy of the nomination letter, also a congratulatory letter signed by Phil Cordell, the President of the Hampton Brand, a bursary and a Spirit of Hampton Lapel Pin.
The AAA/CAA 3 Diamond rated Hampton Inn by Hilton at the Falls is located one block from the Falls on the 20 acre Falls Avenue Resort. The hotel features spacious accommodations, complimentary amenities and is steps from top attractions including the Casino Niagara, Hershey Store, Adventure City and theme restaurants including Hard Rock Cafe, and Rainforest Cafe.

Niagara Falls Indoor Water Park Hosts Toronto’s Number 1 Morning Show

The Fallsview Indoor Waterpark is excited to have once again hosted the CityTV Breakfast Television “Live Eye”. Viewers of the popular morning show tuned in as “Live Eye” Host Jennifer Valentyne hosted live segments at the 3 acre Niagara Falls Waterpark between 6:30 am-9:00 am. This was the second appearance of the “Live Eye” at the Fallsview Waterpark.

The Live Eye Host, Valentyne introduced viewers to the Waterpark and to General Manager Ori Ovics whom officially launched the Breakfast Television Viewer Contest featuring the chance to win one of three Hotel Waterpark Package Getaways including hotel accommodations at the Sheraton on the Falls, and 4 two-day waterpark passes.

Valentyne was joined by a notable guest in Niagara Falls, Mayor Ted Salci, for her 8:00 am live segment which featured a ride with the Mayor on the Great Canadian Plunge Bowl. Mayor Salci may not have been prepared to experience the excitement of the waterslide, not bringing a swimsuit to the park, however, with gentle ribbing and the promise of getting a link on the Breakfast Television website for the Niagara children’s charity, ‘Project S.H.A.R.E.’ thrown into the mix, the Mayor proved he was a good sport and was convinced to participate – in his work attire!

The 3 acre Fallsview Indoor Waterpark is located on the Falls Avenue Entertainment Complex in Niagara Falls Ontario, and is situated directly across from Falls in the heart of the premier Fallsview tourist district.
